CAS Senate Committees -- Graduate Review

The Graduate Review Committee is one of the standing committees of the CAS Senate. From the Senate Bylaws (revised May 1995):

Shall review all proposals for new graduate programs that originate from, or depend upon, the participation of CAS Departments and Programs. The Chair of the Graduate Review Committee shall be a member of the Faculty Council Graduate Committee. The Chair shall keep the Senate Executive Committee informed of all business of the Faculty Council Graduate Committee affecting CAS programs and courses and faculty resources. The Chair will, in consultation with the Graduate Review Committee, decide when it is appropriate for the GRC to review any new graduate courses, any changes in existing programs in the College, and any CAS portions of intercollegiate programs.

This committee has ceded its charge to the University Graduate Studies Committee.
