Summer Courses on Nantucket

bucket_and_waterEach summer, UMass Boston offers several courses from May until August. Most of these courses feature field work that allows the participants to use the island’s natural resources to investigate topics introduced in the classroom.

In most cases, housing at the field station is included in course fees; students provide their own meals and transportation to and from Nantucket. Cost varies yearly.

Courses offered range across all fields fo study -- from playwriting to marine biology, from painting to hydogeology. These programs, as well as all of UMass Boston's summer programs, are administered through our Division of Corporate, Continuing, and Distance Education (CCDE).
